We are extremely grateful that our pups are in such high demand. Viewing the below FAQ will be beneficial to all parties before you give us a call. Please take a minute to look through the questions below.

Are you affiliated with Smoky Mtn Labradors?

Yes! You can think of SML as our “mother” kennel. Everything we do is a family effort. We are grateful to say our pups from Moose and our females are in incredibly high demand. We often hear the phrase, “I want a Moose puppy.” This allowed us to start a second family-run kennel to better service our clients and distribute the workload. Everything we do we do together and we are thankful for the ability to make a living delivering the highest quality English Labrador pups to families across the nation.

How do I pay for my puppy?

All of our puppies are invoice through our accounting office here the day of the puppy vet check. (All Credit Cards are available 3% Fee or Bank Draft is No Charge) This protects you (the buyer) and us as the seller.  The remaining balance for your puppy will be billed to you the day of your puppy vet examination typically at 6 weeks of age. Your puppy arrives to you between 7-9 weeks old.

Do you offer refunds?

No. Moose & Mary has a non-refundable policy once a deposit for your puppy has been made. There is only one exception to this policy, and that has to do with any potential failed medical examinations of your puppy at your veterinarian office within the first 3 days of arriving at your home. One of the things that sets us apart is that ALL of our puppies here at Moose & Mary have been thoroughly examined by OUR OWN VETERINARIAN before we even begin to show you pictures or even the selection of your puppy. We have found that this process eliminates any disappoint for your family in the process. Only once a puppy has been returned to us upon failing an exam will a refund be issued. Below is more information concerning the health examination process:

  • Initial Health Exam- In order for the health warranty to be valid, the purchaser agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 3 working days of the transfer. If at that time the puppy is diagnosed with an existing medical problem, the puppy may be returned for a full refund. If the purchaser wishes to retain possession of the sick puppy, the Breeder agrees to pay any and all reasonable veterinary expenses up to 25% of the purchase price of the puppy within 30 days of documentation, but prior to any treatment for illness. The purchaser must provide the Breeder with a letter from the attending veterinarian specifying the nature of the problem, and copies of the medical record and expenses. If requested by the Breeder, the purchaser must provide the Breeder with an evaluation from a second veterinarian of the Breeder’s choice at the Breeder’s expense prior to any payment. Smoky Mtn. Labradors must be informed IMMEDIATELY of the initial vet examination by email at gene@smokymtnlabradors.com. If we do not receive notice of vet examination, all guarantees are no longer valid.

  • If the buyer’s vet establishes a major problem with the puppy upon initial examination, which would identify any genetic illness, then the buyer should initiate a claim for puppy. At the buyer’s expense, the buyer should return puppy to seller if the seller requests so to be done.

  • Due to Parvo virus and Kennel Cough running rampant at Veterinarian Offices around the country and in all of our local Pet Stores, and Road Side Rest Areas Smoky Mtn. Kennels is not liable for this disease.
