Over the years we have seen more and more of a demand for the Yellow Lab. Yellow English Labrador puppies are like their black and chocolate counterparts in that they are smart, loyal, obedient and athletic dogs. These outgoing and playful pups are great with children and adults, and they are relatively easy to train. They love to explore and meet new people, and yellow Labs are wonderful companions and family pets. You won’t find a dog more deserving of the title “most popular”!
While English Labrador Retrievers are bred from working dogs, their main roles today are participating in AKC-sponsored shows, supporting and assisting blind people and veterans, and being a loyal, loving member of their human families.
Yellow Labs have a coat that ranges in color from pale yellow or cream to a deep golden color. Like the black and chocolate variety, the yellow Lab has a double waterproof coat.
