In 2024, our English Labrador puppies price begins at $7000 and increases from there. When people ask why our English Labs cost so much, we give three answers:

1. The quality of our full English Labradors can’t be beat. They are descended from the highest-quality Labs bred in America during the last five decades.
2. We don’t just sell puppies. We join your family in our comprehensive program from start to finish. Our professional training is an important part of what we offer.
3. Our owners, kennel staff, lead team and state-of-the-art facility are here for you and your dog throughout its life. When you purchase a Moose & Mary pup, you and our team embark on a forever relationship that we take very seriously.

… and why we require 100% of payment be made in advance. Over the years we have had many people place deposits after we have worked tirelessly to produce their puppy only for them to back out. Most people are not aware of the work that goes into raising a litter of puppies. With the rising costs of veterinarian bills, surgical implants and C-sections and the labor involved in raising a litter, we want to be in relationships only with very serious Labrador buyers.

We typically see the wait time of 6 – 9 months for our pups and most are paid for before they are even born. The demand for our puppies is beyond anything we would have ever believed; we receive hundreds of phone call inquiries per month between our family of kennels.

Sales tax may apply, depending on the state in which you live. Once we receive your deposit, we put you on our active Moose & Mary waiting list, and after that, we communicate regularly with you while you wait for your pup. We pride ourselves on our communication, and you will never feel you are alone throughout the process. Your payment is non-refundable.

Please be aware that as breeders, we always strive to win the most prestigious dog shows in the world and that means that we always keep back some of the best males from every litter. After reviewing those pups for a while, we may occasionally sell some of them. If you are interested in purchasing one of our companionable pups, you should expect a wait time of six months to one year.

The cost of an English Lab puppy from Moose & Mary buys so much more than the best puppy. You get:

• Contract and details of ownership
• Sales receipt for your records
• Hip and elbow dysplasia guarantee *
• American Kennel Club (AKC) limited registration document, which means that the puppy cannot be bred or shown **

* We guarantee that all our puppies will pass the appropriate health care clearances on their hips and elbows; if they do not, we will replace that puppy with another of the same quality at no cost to you.

** Please note that while the puppy’s litter is registered with the AKC, each individual puppy must be registered by you as the new owner.

Producing this level of English Labrador puppies requires a huge investment of time and resources. Up to thousands of dollars go into ensuring that we are satisfied with the highest level of breeding and that you receive a puppy of the highest quality. 

Moose & Mary is committed to providing each family the high-quality puppy it desires, and this necessitates a daily, intentional process of purposeful breeding. We do all this because we want our families to be absolutely satisfied with their decision. It is very important to understand that we allow absolutely no one to pick our puppies; we reserve that right as breeders.

The decision to care for and assume responsibility for a high-quality, full-bred English Labrador puppy should not be made lightly, so we ask that you be completely sure about your decision before purchasing a pup. Our typical wait time is 6 – 9 months, but the result is well worth the wait. If you desire a pup of a certain color or gender, the wait may be longer.

The Moose & Mary family is serious about protecting the health of our puppies. That’s why we do not allow puppy buyers to visit the litter prior to their designated pick-up times. But we won’t leave you in the dark. We will send you photos of the litter at the appropriate time so you can view the progress of your pup after its 9 – 10 week veterinarian check.
