It All Began with Our AKC Grand Champion

BISS MBOSS AKC GCHS Santy Smoky Mtn “Moose”

AKC Grand Champion Santy Smoky Mtn Moose is the pride and joy of the Smoky Mtn Labrador Kennel Family. In 2020, we were proud to announce that Moose was the #1 ranked English Labrador in the state of Tennessee and ranked 31st overall in the nation. This was a tremendous accomplishment for such a young dog! Moose is such an extra-special dog that we named our kennel after him!

Moose completed his AKC Grand Championship degree, which is one of the highest degrees awarded to a Labrador. This entails being judged and evaluated by multiple AKC judges and traveling thousands of miles, which is very demanding on any dog. Moose accomplished this in almost record time as a 2-year-old. 

We refer to Moose as the one who started it all. Not only is he a literal part of our family, but he also spends time on the road achieving more in the show world than we ever thought possible. He represents the highest-quality of English Labrador in the world. His father and grandfather are considered two of the greatest Labradors alive today; both are Westminster Champions.

An AKC Grand Champion at a Very Young Age

When we look around and see all the great Labradors in our country, we realize that our amazing Santy Smoky Mtn Moose became an AKC Grand Champion at a very young age. We consider ourselves so fortunate, and we consider him to be a very blessed animal to rise to that level of competition and compete against the best while just a puppy.

Moose has been shown against the top Labradors in the country, and he won! Grand Champion Santy Smoky Mtn Moose has achievements beyond what we had hoped or even dreamed, and now to watch his offspring prepare to follow in his footsteps is beyond our wildest imagination.
